MOVE TO AMEND Marchers-The Monahan Brothers of Minnesota
The Monahan Brothers began in California, and have walked 2,000 miles across the country, promoting the Move to Amend the Constitution movement. . They are responding to the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United, January of 2010, giving corporations unfettered ability to pump millions into elections, advancing corporate interests, and threatening the very core of our democracy.
Corporate Personhood should and would be abolished with passage of such an amendment by 3/4 of the states. This will be a long and difficult task and to achieve this the public must be alerted to the dangers of the latest Supreme Court decision that places a stamp of approval to this corrupting process.Dozens of national organizations are supporting this non partisan movement
